The 501(c)(3) not-for-profit “Kiley Ranch Preservancy Foundation” was formed to acquire and manage the Kiley Ranch Wildlife Wetland Preserve in order to preserve the biodiversity of the natural resources, flora and fauna, and to provide environmental educational opportunties so that residents of this region can make informed decisions leading to respect for, and the enjoyment, conservation and responsible use of our natural systems.
The Preserve consists of approximately 215 acres and is located in the southern portion of the Spanish Springs Valley. The appeal of this land as a Preserve stems from its natural setting and unique natural features along with its location adjacent to the Kiley Ranch and other surrounding communities. The Kiley Ranch Wildlife Wetland Preserve will serve as an example to preserve wildlife and wetland values within an urbanizing area for the benefit of existing natural resources and the public as well as serve as an amenity to Kiley Ranch Communities as a place for residents of Kiley Ranch to walk and enjoy the natural environment.
